Hi
I'm wanting to make a raised decked walkway at the side of my garage which is approx 3ft higher than the lawn which is on top of a clay base so gets waterlogged when it rains.
I was thinking of putting wooden treated sleepers as a border then bulding them higher so they're almost level with the garage base and fitting decking boards on top for the walkway,
I'm worried the sleepers on the ground wont last with being in water for 6 months of the year with out weather, is this a problem or are treated sleeps ok to cope with this?
