Hello! I have a 3ft high concrete block wall in my garden adjoining the patio and was looking at coping stones for the top. BUT, I have railway sleepers here which I think would make a nice, chunky top to the wall. However, I'm second-guessing myself on how to secure them. The plan was to make a cement/mortar-type mix and bed them down in it, but then I had visions of the mix squirting out the sides under the weight of the sleeper!

Someone please talk some sense into me?! Thank you :)
