Hi All,
We have recently had Cortizo Cor Vision sliding doors installed with the aim to have a flush floor look internally through to a small patio outside.
Our builder and now installer are saying that the doors should always be installed with a small reveal on walls as this is they way they have always done it however another window installer doing work for us mentioned that they always make sure these type of doors are flush with the external wall so that the drain can be flush and straight.Unfortunately we are finding that our builder at times agrees to what we want without actually having the knowledge/experience until we begin.
Has anyone had experience of these doors and who is providing sound advice. What we want to avoid is the water coming in via the sliding doors.
Thanks
Danny

Having them flush means all the leaf litter will blow in very easily and if it blocks drainage rain will enter easily.

Thanks Foxhole. We are aware that there will some leaf litter for the floor and need to keep it clean. I think at the moment we are concerned that the doors should be flush so the gutter can be built in next to the doors flush rather than inset slightly but we are unsure who is correct.
