I have sliding wardrobe doors which end in butting up against a small fillett.

My partner has developed a habit of slamming shut this door which is moving the fillet and plaster work and is developing some cracks.

Other than divorce, anyone know how I could reinforce or slow the door down?

I’ve looked at soft closings but they all involve having something screwed into the door which I think will most likely damage the door or give insufficient anchorage for the soft close mechanism

I used rubber door stop at top of track on wall , hidden by pelmet it stops door just before it make contact with wall .
You could mount soft close unit on track at ceiling or floor .
