Hi Everyone,

I’ve got a small dip forming near the entrance to my garden shed, and after the last bit of rain, I noticed it tends to hold water more than the rest of the yard. It’s not major, but I walk through it often, and it's starting to feel like a nuisance.

Funny enough, I mentioned it to a concrete contractor who was helping a neighbor re-do their patio, and he said even minor dips like that can slowly worsen if the runoff isn't controlled well.

I’m not planning any major landscaping just yet, but do you think it’s worth trying to level it out with a simple DIY fix, or should I just leave it for now?

Thanks for any tips!

You might find some helpful tips on leveling small dips or addressing water pooling on www.concretecontractorsannarbormichigan.com they have some great advice for simple fixes!
Also wondering if anyone’s tried a quick gravel or paver fix for this kind of issue does it actually hold up over time, or just a short-term patch?

Put a gutter on the shed. Put a couple of slabs by the door on tamped sharp sand.
