slight run from living room to hall

Hi Guys/Girls

Im looking for some advice. Im wanting to install laminate flooring from living room into hall, but have a slight run of about half and inch from about a foot inside my living room out into the hall. any advise on my options.

You seem to have chipboard sheeting patched in any old how - and perhaps not thoroughly screwed down. Its probably T&G but I cant tell.
Does the slope you refer to only begin to drop about one foot from the doorway?
Are you sure that it doesn't begin to slope from the far side of the room but only becomes significant near to the doorway wall?

Often what you describe is caused by the joist tails rotting in the wall and causing the flooring above to sag.
If you unscrew a couple of chipboard pieces butting up to the wall you will be able to see the joist tails - why not photo them and post on here?
