I have a sloped concrete floor and I am planning to place travertene flooring ontop. How do i level such a greately sloped floor? Please give me some ideas.

the only way i level concrete floors is using sand & cement screed. the trouble is i don't like to go much above 1".

so i would try to level out to within 1" with concrete then top with screed.

i'm not sure what u would bed the flooring on but if they are tiles or flags then the screed would do both jobs. otherwise u will need to limit the ht of the concrete/screed to give the required finished floor level.
