I want to build a flat roof 8m x 5m.

I want the fall to be on the 8m section and because of the span can’t run the rafters in that direction. If I run the rafters in the Direction of the 5 meter rafters how do I get the fall on the roof to run against the rafters I’m planning a flat roof warm construction OSB PIR OSB EDPM.

Hope that’s clear.

At the risk of answering my own question I’ve found information taht says I can run the furring strips at 90’ to the rafters but over 8m might be a stretch? Anyone seen 8m furring strips that arn’t stupid money?

It there an alternative?

You just need two sets of the 4m firrings, it's just that half of them will be sat on some consistently thick battens.
