Afternoon all,

I have an upstairs bathroom sink that drains really slowly. Had this problem fixed for about 9 months when Dyno Rod came out earlier in the year, as all of the conventional advice failed (bicarbonate of soda + vinegar, off-the-shelf products, plunger, plumber's snake). Dyno Rod fed some sort of water jet into down the sink and possibly fired a solution of some kind down it to push the blockage out. The engineer said it was limescale build up due to living in a hard water area.

Do you all know what type of device I could buy to do this myself and if anything other than water would be needed to push the blockage out?

Thanks in advance,

R.

You can get a drainclearing snake for domestic pressure washer (if you have one). Problem is most likely due to not enough fall on the pipe (or possibly pipe doing an up and over a joist)
