Slow hot water speed

Does anyone know what causes a lower hot water pressure on a combi. Only 3 yrs old - main HE.

I know the pressure is lower than the cold, but can we alter the hot water to come a little faster, say if we adjust the hot water temp ?

Some have flow restrictors.


Too much flow = too cool a water temperature.

Welcome to the word of combination boilers.

Gas pressure needs to be correct (often is not), flow rate has to be as mentioned in the manual for that boiler and model, service is also important. With all three boxes ticked, flow rate may still not be what can be termed 'adequate'
