Hi all,

I have a single skin attached brick garage. The bricks are not engineering and I believe are called Tudor bricks. After prolonged rainfall I get damp across the foot of one exposed wall. It never puddles, it's just damp and I believe it is permiating through the poruous brick. It is not really a big problem , more of annoyance however I have emptied my garage with a view of paining the garage floor and was thinking it might be an ideal time to tackle the problem. The damp patch protudes about 6 inches off the wall max but often sits at an inch or two for a few weeks before drying.

Any advice much appreciated!
