Hi all,

Once i get through the comming weekend i need to start some work on my Garage Loft Space.

It a brick built garage, Apex design roof. Tiled external, with felt / bitumin stuff under the tiles.

The beam structure seems solid enough, its that gang nail type (I think its called)

I was thinking along the lines of some kind of insulation that i could put inbetween the roof trusses, ie upto the felt?

Any recomendations of what to use?

Im then going to PlasterBoard the Cieling as currently its an open void...

Then posisbly board out and fit a loft style ladder to the loft space...

It will only be used to store light items... xmas decorations etc, could i get away with ply for internal boarding? im never going to walk on it....
Or would i be better doing a propper job with loft boards, or chipboard?

Is their a recomended maximum load for this kind of apex trus roof design?

I will take pictures or measurements if anyone thinks they will help....

Just posting here to gie me a heads up on what im going to be doing...

Looking forward as always to your replies...

Rgds
