Hi

Whilst fitting a FCU powering an external light i have somehow manage to make a nick in the brown sheathing on live cable in the back box and exposed the copper core. This is the cable that goes outside to the external light and its been plastered in above the back box so can't pull it through and cut that bit off. The physical cable is fine its just the outer sheathing - what is the best way to repair / cover if possible

Thanks

The best way is to chip out the plaster and pull it through.

And learn from you mistake and use plastic conduit next time.
