I'm looking at buying a bungalow which has been refurbished. It is pebbledashed and to me although it has been on probably 50 years it looks in great condition though there are a few areas of damage which have probably been done when being refurbished.

Unfortunately it is 125 miles away and I didn't get any photos but I'm talking about an area of roughly 4 inches x 12 inches (as one example). It looks like it has been forced off rather than lifted, I suspect when removing a pipe or maybe drilling through.

What would be the best way to repair the area? It is unpainted and as I say could be 50 years old so I wouldn't expect it to be totally invisible. I'd resist painting as I want to avoid having to continue to paint it.

Thanks in anticipation.

‘continuing to paint is a myth’
once it’s done its done with modern paints.
anyway mix some cement with a bit of lime in to make it sticky and fling dash at it.

I didn't know that and it is good to know!

I was hoping that the repair answer would be as simple as that, thanks.

Have a good one!
