Smart key, texecom 48

Hi,

I've set two smart keys up on my premier elite, commented through an 8-xpw. All seems to be working, eg arm, disarm apart from the panic function. The lights seem to run left to right on the key, but no alarm is activated. Do I need to configure the key into a zone or do something else to get this working? Thanks in advance.
