my dishwasher used to display the 'not draining message' but now shows the e9 pressure switch code. have rung smeg and clarified this. appears to wash fine till the last 20 minuets when it has a hissy and chucks all the water out. sometimes it works fine. any ideas on how to mend it? also the swaying roter arm on the bottom gets stuck, are there parts missing? please help me!

Try cleaning out the transfer pipe from metering tank to sump.
If you're lucky, take out the fine filter inside, look into the sump for a black rubber flap, lift this and push a long cable tie into the pipe. Rod it and you'll bring some gunk out.
