Hi
I have been getting drain/sewage type smells from the kitchen sink area. I thought I had a vent pipe blockage as had gurgling in sinks and low toilet bowl water issues too. Had drain company out to jet the drains and the smell seemed to disappear for a few days but I can now smell it again. I’m now wondering if there is an issue with the plumbing configuration under the sink. Can anyone advise?

The washing machine hose connector should be pointing upwards, but shouldn't be causing a smell. Everything else looks fine.

As above, but the trap connector seems long. Is the smell persistent or only occasional, eg when washing machine in use?

Thanks for your replies. I originally thought it was linked to having the washing machine on as the machine smells bad after use occasionally, but seems more random now. Do you think it’s worth trying to adjust the connector to see if that helps? Not sure if I’ll be able to given the hose position but could have a go. As I’ve just spent £250 on clearing the drains when that might not have even been the issue I’ll need to try and having a go myself despite not being handy
