Please help me diagnose and solve this issue.

After returning the toilet back into it position after getting laminate flooring laid, the toilet area has been smelling of stale urine. I think it could be relate to the waste pipe at the back not being re-installed correctly. It looks like that front end should be inserted deeper. Please can some diagnose and suggest fix.

Check your manholes.
Why no smell before and then smell after?

McAlpine solid waste would be better than the flexi
Cheers for the advice, anything better I can do to install that flexi pipe?

It looks to be installed ok, but it may have been damaged/holed before refitting the pan. It wouldn't cost much to change it, just to rule it out if nothing more.

White vinegar.
Wipe over will remove smell.
I wonder if it's leaking a bit under flooring as not in nice.
It's going to have to come out to look

It’s hard to tell, but the fins of the flexi might not be in properly or in front where the silicone is located, might be a gap?

It may be a residual smell especially if the soil pipe/waste was exposed for any length of time further works. Try replacing with new flexi
