I bought a printer in USA, unaware of voltage variation I plugged it and caused instant smokes, immediately switched off. Brand new brother printer is dead. Any way of giving new life?

probably not worth the cost, I imagine the PSU blew, doubt anything else but you never know. Could call local repair people, how much is the printer worth? if its an expensive one it might be worth the manuf's repair charge
