It isn't a problem with the landlords.
We live in a free, capitalist society.

It is a problem with the laws of the land, specifically renting law or, mostly, lack of it.

People love land and houses so this won't be changing any time soon.

I researched the company
And the two directors they've done very well from the rental income. Now sod the tenants and their lives !

The airey houses mentioned in a lot of other areas have had new insulation and brick outer wall installed. Demolition because they're not fit for purpose is an excuse.
