snapped handle

I have a window with a broken handle. It is PVC. Can i just buy a new handle for the window?

I think the window was locked and so the person has forced the handle to open and snapped the metal piece inside.
 
Are you sure its just the handle thats broken and not the gearbox it goes into?

If so you can get handles from most hardware stores or ebay. Just take one from another window 1st to measure the spindle length
