The people that got most upset were the ones who needed it least but had the most leverage politicallyTaking away the heating allowance was his first mistake I dont think people ever really got over that horrible thing he did.
They’re surely not dodges if they are built into legislationWill your moral or social conscience allow that or do you actually need those tax dodges?
I'll wait.
Not interested.
We are talking about JD and him outperforming the pair of you supposed financial wizards. Several pages whinging if I remember.
It upset me because I hate to see old war hero's and old codgers choose between heating and eating.....and I dont need it or give a shyza politicallyThe people that got most upset were the ones who needed it least but had the most leverage politically
My point exactly. No matter what your wealth status, if it’s legal, it’s not 'dodging'.They’re surely not dodges if they are built into legislation

He’s got nothing to share, just gum flapping as usual. This could be a long night.
Not really. At least with the heating allowance the government provide the means to opt out.My point exactly.
Whats the point of not having it just to tell people you opted out?I remember years ago when the missus and me could not be ersed with the child allowance and we tried to say no thanks. Nigh on impossible to opt out. It was ridiculous.
The missus tells me it was Working Families Tax Credit or some such. It was faffy in terms of declaring it (SE tax) etc and we didn't need it either. To say no to it was like asking to donate a limb.Whats the point of not having it just to tell people you opted out?
