At 5:00 pm Thursday raining, few hours latter, and in the morning and melting, looks nice but it has resulted in no milk delivery, but to be fair I told him not to bother in this weather, and yet another non collection of the recycling, but nothing which has affected my life, and only should the wind get up, is there likely to be a problem, where uncollected recycling waste gets blown down the street, as no one has actually said sorry, recycling will be collected on Sat, Sun, Mon etc. County website says check website for delayed collection date, which seems a pointless thing to say on the website.

The problem today is we seem to be travelling more and more, as a boy I walked to school, today we bus children in from miles around, helping spread disease, and meaning we are reliant on buses to get children to school, or parents cars, so increasing the danger from road traffic around the schools.

Large contracts I worked on would have accommodation sites near to the job, today again we travel to work, I had a 30 miles limit after which I would find local accommodation, but today we have people travelling 100 miles a day to and from work. Not so bad with a train trip, but on the road, asking for people to get stranded.

I spent most of my working life, working all over UK, and at times the EU. 50 miles one way, was a quite usual normal commute. One local, and quite specialised company I worked for, did lots of work for the NHS - strangely, most of the work was in and around London. The usual thing was to drive down early Monday morning, staying in hotels, then head back home on Friday. I didn't stay long, I hated Londinium.
