Snowcrete mix

I am tempting to build a wall using snowcrete but unsure of the mix with sand & water is it the same as normal cement & is there a difference in thickness in the pug i should be aware of and what would be the best sand to use builders or sharp.

The one time I used it the developer decided to build the wall first with 5 to 1 with ordinary Portland cement, rake the joints out while soft then repoint with snowcrete and lime. He felt it would be cheaper in the long run. That stuff was very sticky. He felt he needed the lime to make it whiter. You might want to do a little trial on a small area first. But definitely not sharp sand. Without the lime its probably not as sticky but it might not be as white as you hope.
