Hi All

I am rewiring my house with BC informed and I have got my 16th edition Wiring regs. However I am not an electrician by trade.

I have nearly finished the first fix on the house but have just been alarmed to see on the internet a regulation I was not aware of. I have seen on a site that socket outlets must be 350mm from the corners of a room, this is a Part M regulation. I haven't seen this before and not noticed it in the regs or OSG. Does this apply to me? I have placed my sockets to begin at 20 cm from the corners at a height of 450mm.

it is in there mate under switches, outlets and controls.this will not apply to an existing build though
