Software but for SonyEricsson T630 not PC

My mob finally died, have been given a SonyEricsson.
I have bought a blue tooth dongle my phone & pc can see each other.
When I tried to transfer a file from the pc to my phone I get an error message of cant complete file transfer.
If I send a file from pc to another mob it works.
Apart from having a faulty fone anyone got any ideas.

I have down loaded a free prog, that has read all my phone details via bluetooth (ie phonbook etc), so I know bluetooth is working, but I cant send or receive a file.

Some free/feature limited bluetooth transfer utilities set a size limit on file transfers. For example it might be transferring the first 5MB of data and then stop.

Thanks for that, I was only talking about the free prog to show bluetooth was working.

I have come to the conclusion that the mob has a problem as I have just switched to a Nokia & all bluetooth works.

Are you using float mobile agent ? if not, try it http://fma.sourceforge.net/.

Try sending small file from phone to pc and back
try sending different types of file - create a small text file and rename it to txt.jpg, txt.gif, txt.mp3, txt.mid etc as it may be that phone is a bit picky

Just had a look at that may give it a go later, but I do think its my mob.
