Soil Pipe Colour

Hi all

I'm replacing my soil pipe with a new one. Is there any regulation as to what colour the pipe has to be? I have seen the pipe I need in grey but also in black. Is the grey for soil pipe and the black for guttering pipe - or can I use black for the new soil pipe?

Black for soil is good. Terrain keeps its colour better than Polypipe which goes dull. T costs more!
If painting, use oil based gloss, no undercoat
