Water leaking through a soil vent pipe then replaced with a vent tile.
In a different position so flexi and black tape used.
After rain water collects in the bend and has to be pushed up to allow water to drop down.
1. Should flexi of been used in the first place, along with the black tape this seems like a temporary solution.
2. Should water be coming in at all? The vent should be angled so this doesn't happen surely.
3. I'm sure the pipe should be pvc the proper bends and attachments.

Wanted to attach a video of the water in the bend but it won't let me

Any and all information is appreciated.

Needs a centrifugal fan. Do you have one installed or stranded one?
Your going to get condensation in pipe. Can't stop that unfortunately, but id put a 90 bend and run pipe just above floor then another bend and up and out.

I don't like roof vents. Better out a wall or through and out soffit.

That's not a good job

It's heavy rain, 100% it's rain and not condensation.
We has a solid pipe that went through the roof.
The guy didn't like it and changed to a vent.
Was a simply leak that he's made worse.

Have you tried to get him back and explain your not happy?

Housing association is responsible for the outside of the house.
I repeatedly made clear all I want is the leak repaired. All can be done from the outside. But all I got was someone very confidently saying they've seen this many times. This is the way to fix it. I'm working/back and forth and busy. Come back to check and find water sat in there.
Looks like a scruffy council estate sloppy job, wouldn't do it in their own house. But think they can get away with it here.
