Hi folks hope you can help me with some advice.

I currently have a soil stavk vent pipe which goes through the roof of my newly built extension ( itsa mono pitch roof extension. The area around the pipe is leaking ( and I also have to change the tiles as they are the wrong sort ).........

Are we allowed to route the part of the stack pipe ( above the highest point where teh water from the bathroom goes into the pipe ) -( i.e right angle from where t he pipe goes downwards, , along the wall of the extension, ( it will be above teh ceiling in the new extension anyway, exiting via the wall, and then straight up with a swan neck over the roof of the original house ....

would this be OK or in breach of building regs...

Thanks in advance

Tony

did not exacly follow your desc, but after the highest point it goes up to vent only. you can put bends in it etc. its termination is the key thning....

I cant recall exacly...i think if its with 2m of a window then i has to finish 900mm above it
