An existing 100mm cast iron vent pipe passes from an outside inspection chamber underground to rise internally though the building to exit through the roof. There are currently no connections to it. It passes through a utility room where I wish to add a wc and basin. Can a new 100mm connection be made to this vent pipe.

The bend underground will not be a rest bend so you will be prone to blockages.
