solderd fitting looks cracked?

If you want to get some good practice then try sweating a joint and then reheating and pulling it apart and rejoining it again. You should be able to do it time and time again! Use your flux brush to flick off old solder, to leave the pipe clean enough to go back into the fitting. Work quickly with two hands and tools to hold the tube ends with your torch standing upright on work surface with flame permanently on AND watch you don't burn your pinkies :eek:
 
I quite often have to adjust pipework that I soldered several days ago due to various factors (personal cockup sometimes being one of them :rolleyes:) and the ability to sweat apart and change/redirect a joint is essential!
