Solid plate to induction hob

Hi,

Im thinking of changing my current whirlpool solid plate to an induction hob.

I dont know anything about electrics but the current solid plate hob is about two years old and was in my new build flat when i purchased the flat.

Is the change from the solid plate hob to an induction hob a straightforward job for any decent electrician?

Yes but you might need to get new pans !
