Has anyone read any (neutral) articles concerning the matter?

A number of French fishing vessels were granted fishing access as per agreements made in the Brexit deal. All good. Then (supposedly) there was a recent unannounced unilateral rule change by Jersey and it got up the noses of the French fishermen.

Jersey have agreed to set up a forum, or some such.

The one thing I will say about our garlic munching friends, is they are quick to make their feelings known. I saw a pro-brexit march on tele and it was just a few unenthusiastic grumbling gammons out for a ramble.

The French boat was entering the harbour. It was steering a straight course heading for the harbour. It deviated not to the left or the right.
The smaller Jersey boat tried to head off the French boat but cutting straight across its path, only veering away at eh last minute.

It was a staged incident, with the video edited to hide the real events as they unfolded.
Of course gullible people will be fooled. It's the way it is.

According to Jersey officials they were conducting their negotiations via Westminster, and they communicated their new conditions, via Westminster, months ago.

EU and French fishermen only received the details of the new conditions one day before the introduction of the new conditions.
