In a situation like this, when two countries or so out of just under 160 countries in the UN abstain from voting and all others vote in favour of the UN motion/etc - what does that indicate? To me it is causing trouble and a sly smirk on their mush at what is happening to the likes of england/USA without realsing once a nuke kicks off, they too will be impacted by the massive fallout

Using strategic nukes in this conflict would be a bad blunder, but using tactical nukes wouldn't be much use either, since the PR fallout would be spectacular, not to mention the cleaning up the catastrophic fallout from a country you're trying to take over.

They're sitting on the fence. Fact.

China's position on Taiwan is just as inflexible as Putin's in regard to Ukraine. They're interested to see how this plays out before considering their next move. How the West responds to this crisis will have an influence on Beijing's strategy.

How can Chians position the position of one of the world's biggest superpowers be "irrelevant" at a time this.

If everyone turned against him, it may not make putin think clearly gut that cose to hi.
Imagine you having people turn against you in your block of flats and you think these pussys hate me so they can f themselves but then your two best friends turn against you, that will hurt and make you thin or those around you think and that is a massive FACT.
