sony bravia tv

hi there
just bought one of these televisions and must say they are really very good,however i have one problem that i hope someone can help with, when watching programmes other then the tv, and when using say the freeveiw box connected to the televivision a small sign remains on the screen in this case it is AV1 which the box is connected to, it does not effect the picture just sits in the corner of the screen, one we first got it i am sure it was not there.
anyone had this problem before

I used to have a Sony TV, it had a setting whereby you could leave the info on the screen, my wife used to hate it when it was there.

yes the same problem here its annoying but cant find the setting to remove,did you

It was so long ago now that I can't remember.

I too had that problem from time to time on my (very old) Sony widescreen - try the button on your remote with an "i+" inside a box - works for me!
