Have read through posts similar to my problem.
Posted yesterday, Glowworm 52 boiler, Glowworm mastermind box beside with CH and HW timer and controls. Lights come on, boiler fires up, admittedly have a couple of rads that are cool, but my problem is no hot water.
Checked ballvalve, water feeding into tank etc.
Hot water tank is cold.....does this mean thermostat in tank caput?

The rads were bled other day prior to no hot water.

It seems that there is no water feeding into little tank, after draining radiators off

right we are getting somewhere
press the ballvalve down (brass thing with a float on) if it starts filling
replace the valve

when you press it down it does fill



so dodgy ballvalve? will that affect the hot water then ?


Explain ballvalve working to this dumb blonde


Ok got it, after researching, what your basically saying to me, if the water fills when you press the float down in tank, then we have to replace the VALVE.???? And this would hopefully correct the no hot water problem??

Just like to say thanks to all replied on my posts, after not being able to resolve problem called the plumber.

Turned out to be an airlock, and an ickle bit of sludge. phew!
