I live in a semi-detached home and I suspect there is nothing separating the external (front and rear) cavity walls between my home and next door (built in 1980s).I have seen that in the current building regs it is necessary to fit cavity stop socks at junctions between homes to prevent/reduce flanking noise, and I was wondering if it is possible to retrofit this to existing properties?

Any advice very gratefully received :)
