Hey, thank you for the question, there are many sites which provide sound proofing material, but if in case its expensive you can simply use a decorative fabric which can cover, or you can hide the material behind objects. Recently my uncle used the same technique for his house. There are two types of materials: sound blockers and sound absorber. Sound blockers are preferred more to avoid noise. He applied these products over doors, windows, and walls or in between the cracks where these items meet. To get more information related to housing you can get help from experienced professionals, hope you get it appropriate. All the best!

Good and budget don't go together, but don't get it wrong as you will need to get it tested before it is signed off. These guys are excellent http://www.soundservice.co.uk/ Have always used their acoustical system and all our tests have exceeded regs
