Morning, CAn anyone tell me at what maximum spacing should the beams be apart for a suspended ceiling. I'm makeing the fame up from wood and the ceiling is approx 6sq meters if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance..
Also i intend on taping and skimming the joints. I know that i can tape and skim where the tapered egges are but if i have a point where both the edges are flat where i have had to cut the board, how can i make these joints. If i tape and skim them the plaster will be proud. Is the only way around these type of joints to skim the entire ceiling?
