Can anyone tell me if there are any regulations/stipulations regarding the minimum space required to fit an extra toilet ? We have a built-in wardrobe in our spare room, which measures 585mm x 1730mm and would like to convert this. Doors would be removed and the opening framed and plasterboarded, with a new doorway from the hallway being formed. Venting can be through the attic space and out using a slate vent. Any info and tips greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
