Hey I have a 900 rad to swap for a 900 single rad. To make up for the different in pipe centres in the distance from the wall to the pipe valves, Could I space the brackets off with a couple of pieces of 22mm copper were they are screwed to the wall?

Most rads you have 2 options on the brackets for how far u want it to stand off.

Are u replacing a double with a single? If so why? If it's a single already there surely won't be much difference

If you already have a proper dose if inhibitor and want to retain it then close BOTH valves on all the other rads to save the inhibitor in the system.

As mentioned you may be able to turn the brackets to increase the distance off the wall.
