split hose repair

have tried carb cleaner in air intake with reference to previous post and the car runs slightly better but dont know if thats the cure but on getting underneath today noticed a split in one of the hoses with oil weeping slightly.do i have to totally replace this...out of my depth or can i fix with some sort of compound...the pipe has got sort of junctions on it if u like ...dont know which part of engine it feeds but goes of in bout 3 directions.. can any one help please..ford mondy mk2

have temporaraly wrapped tape round it...could this be a cure maybe?

are you sure the oil is coming from the pipe or is it just dripping off it?

deffo split in pipe with oil weeping

Probably just a breather pipe, which will affect the running.
Best to replace it but bodging it with tape will do for now
