Hi there,

In my kitchen there are around 12 spotlights connected to a dimmer control. Of these spotlights, one of them buzzes.

I noticed that the connection the spotlight goes into looked slightly charred, so I have removed a spotlight from there for now.

i think I might need a new 'adpater' ? Basically the thing that directly powers the individual spotlight. Does anyone know what that part is called?

Thanks for any information,
David

A connector, either a GU10 type for 240v lamps or a GU5.3 type for 12 volt lamps.

Thanks, I'll look into that.. The part is up in a lowered ceiling, so I'm hoping I can pull it out through the downlighter hole and afix a new one..
