Spring loaded UPVC sash windows

We have box sash windows in UPVC which run on strings and springs. A couple of the strings have broken along with the bottom pivot which supports the window. Frames appear to be made by Rehau but as for the runners...who knows. Can't seem to track down any way of repairing as company which installed them has dissaperared!! Where to turn now :?:

I have aluminium vertical sash and have to get parts from the US where they are very popular and there are a few big makers.
