Spur in Cellar

quick question before i waste any time of people on the phone.
is a spur allowed at the top of the stairs in a cellarete (no cellar just steps and storage)

Providing the spur is connected in compliance to the regulations.
The main concern would be any trip hazard the flex of the appliance could potentially cause.
So locate the socket in a logical/sensible position to prevent this hazard.

Hi there
It would be just inside the door up at 1.2 meters so I can plug a led light strip into it and an extension lead the powers m router and wireless AP.
No wires would be on the floor.
