Square D - 3871 Type QO-E max ZS values anyone?

Has anyone got reference for the maximum zs values for these mcb's?

All Square D, BS 3871, Type QO-E

I need 45, 32 & 10 amp.




I have emailed the manufacturer (now schneider) to be given this response:

We do not have contact resistance values. If it is something else you are asking about, please contact us again.

What tripping curve type number are they?

Do they have the catalogue no on them, such as QO110E16? (the digit after the E is the type)

I havn't been given that information. Judging by the content of the periodic I will be visiting anyway before I sign off.

The only other info I have is that it has a big red switch on the front.

I'll collect the extra info tomorrow that you guys have suggested.

I have an old square D catalogue which has the max Zs figures in, if I think on I'll try and scan it in tomorrow evening.

First figure is for 5 seconds, second is for 0.4 secs.

45amp type1 1.42/1.33 type2 1.42/0.76 type3 1.42/0.53

32amp type1 2.00/1.88 type2 2.00/1.07 type3 2.00/0.75

10amp type1 6.00/6.00 type2 4.00/3.43 type3 4.00/2.40


Those figures are straight out of some original Square D literature

The max Zs figures are for 240v so you'll need to multiply them by 230/240.

We have no such value for these breakers.

You guys have really come up trumps for me.
