Stack Overflow Error Message?

Since Saturday my internet has been painfully slow and in many cases just spends forever trying to connect. A few pages that I did manage to get to - e.g. BBC, eBay - flashed up a

stack overflow at line: 54
stact overflow at line: 10

messages, and some other numbers I think. I read in Google that this was due to either registry problems or my ISP. Does anyone know which and how do I get it fixed??

stack overflows are bugs in programming logic. Probably something going wrong in your browser. Reboot your pc and see if that clear it.

Thanks I've already tried that but it didn't make any difference. Spoke with the my ISP (Talk Talk) and noticed that they had a big notice on their page about problems with their service. The problem went away by itself by the Tuesday, and Talk Talk eventually replied to say that the problem was with them. Didn't say exactly what it was though.
