Stain from gold mixer taps

Hi, after fitting some gold bath mixer taps from homebase yellow liquid drips from them and stains our bath, and has done for a few months. This stops when you run the taps for a few seconds and it washes itself clear but starts again when the taps have been off for a few minutes

anyone else ever experienced this, is it a worthy case to send them back?
