Anybody done this?
Mid 50's house with a softwood staircase, stringers each side.
A Richard Burbidge spindle banister added. Newel posts and handrails stained wood, everything else white gloss.
Light oak herringbone parquet in hall.
Bulnose bottom step

I am looking at cladding the stairs with a matching covering, not quite sure whether to only use the tread tops and leave the nosing/riser face white.

thanks

you have to do the nosings as well to finish the front off the tread otherwise you have a step above the nosing
how thick is the material ??
