Having read the posts on putting wood flooring on stairs, I am naturally a touch apprehensive, so you can imagine my delight when I came across the following product: www.stairmakeover.com
It sounds great and being anti-slip it answers my main concern. The only problem is the price. It comes in packages of two stairs (close to £100 each pack and I have 13 stairs!!!!) plus 'additional' products for assembly and finishing. And then of course, you have to lay it yourself with no guarantee of not messing up. It just struck me that it might actually work out cheaper and better to forget the the packs and get a professional in to do the whole thing with regular strip flooring. I was wondering if anyone has used this product? Or does anyone have an opinion on which option might be better?
